God's Creation in
Action
God made earth, fire, wind and
water
He bequeathed these that it may
matter
To achieve man's end to foster
But greedy
shams noble efforts do shatter
Earth yields better when rotated and
rested
Fire lights wood to feed and feel
protected
Wind like
two giant hands sweeps and dusted
Water dredges debris, sundry
on vast ocean is foisted
Nature doing man's work at
times is frustrated
Earthquakes, forest fires, tornadoes,
floods it unleashes
All the damage done by insolent man
it punishes
Laying bare what was lush with gashes
The repentant man, lesson learnt,
blushes
Promises to cherish what was without
blemishes
Never again, he promises, to indulge
in excesses
Generations pass, lessons forgotten,
nature fury surfaces
The cycle of creation,
denudation and destruction for ages flourishes
Our beautiful planet mother
earth silently endureth.
