The Work of the Holy Spirit
The Word of God lies open before me
A smattering of letters and words are
all I see
Whence God is the purpose of this
book
My tryst with it is occasional and
often just a look
Seeking stories to satiate my
mind
But its mysteries are hidden so be
kind
To reveal to me what the Word beholds
So that I may embrace it and make it
my own
To live a life pleasing to yourself
And by it make mine as thyself
